Driver Wanted at Falu Energi & Vatten

As a driver, you will be responsible for collecting waste from houses, apartment buildings, and businesses – an important task that keeps society functioning. Does this sound like a job for you? Work as a Driver

Working as a driver means a responsible and self-directed job where you daily provide the best possible service to the residents of Falu municipality. Your main task is to collect waste from residential households, apartment buildings, and businesses in Falu municipality according to a set driving schedule. Using a tablet, you will report on the jobs performed as well as any deviations or remarks.

The role also includes maintenance of the recycling vehicles, such as interior and exterior cleaning, minor repairs, and daily checks of safety features.

You will be part of the Collection team together with 14 drivers, 4 service technicians, planners, and team leaders. It’s a wonderful group with many experienced colleagues who will provide great support in your new role.

The employment is a fixed-term position for about six months with possibilities for extension. Working hours are scheduled during the day, Monday to Friday.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who is meticulous, self-driven, responsible, and enjoys collaborating with others. You have a natural commitment to doing your best while contributing to the development of the organization. Furthermore, you have social skills and enjoy communicating with many different people. If you are a positive person who contributes to a good atmosphere in the group and provides a pleasant response to our customers, then this is the job for you.

We are looking for someone who has:

• High school education
• Driver's license with C-category and valid professional competence certificate (YKB)
• Good physical condition as the work can be physically demanding
• Good computer skills as reporting is done via tablet/computer and some administrative computer work is involved.

It is advantageous if you have:

• Experience with garbage trucks and/or truck driving
• Cranes license
• Experience from service professions with customer contacts

In this recruitment, great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities rather than work experience; however, a C driver's license and valid YKB are required.

Employment Conditions

• Fixed-term employment for about 6 months, with possibilities for extension.
• Full-time. Work is scheduled during the day, Monday to Friday.
